The Defensive Network Security Consultants, LLC (DNSC) is cybersecurity consulting firm based out of El Paso, TX. DNSC was established in October 2011. DNSC specializes in assisting their clients improve their cyber resiliency by conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and offering mitigation strategies for deficiencies discovered.

The DNSC staff are highly qualified security professionals. The majority of the staff has over 12 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Each of the staff members have been highly trained and hold industry recognized certifications. The staff members all have at the minimum the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified | Ethical Hacker (C|EH), and Certified Ethical Penetration Tester. Other certifications that have been obtained by the staff include the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), and CompTIA Security+. All of the staff have previously obtained TS level clearances.

DNSC consultants have accumulated years of experience assessing various types of networks (e.g. Government [DoD], Educational [i.e. University and colleges], and financial institution [credit unions]), individual systems , and web applications.  DNSC consultants are highly educated, trained (attend yearly training [e.g. SANS]), and certified.  They are capable of providing onsite support such as sending consultants to the customer to conduct interviews or assessments.
